Position Overview
We’re seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Thoracic Surgeon to join our collaborative two-surgeon team at Sunnyside Medical Center in Portland, Oregon. This is a unique opportunity to deliver high-quality, comprehensive thoracic care in a forward-thinking, patient-centered environment.
What You’ll Do
As part of our integrated, multidisciplinary team, you’ll perform a wide range of advanced, minimally invasive thoracic procedures, including:
- VATS and robotic-assisted lobectomies (RATS)
- Mediastinal mass resections
- Esophagectomies
- Paraesophageal hernia repairs
- Lung biopsies and wedge resections
- Chest wall resections and reconstructions
- Substernal goiter resections
- Bronchoplasty and tracheoplasty

Qualifications
- Board Certified or Eligible in Thoracic Surgery
Compensation & Benefits
- Annual Salary: $610,700 – $694,000
- Total Rewards Package: $716,301 – $884,000
- Relocation Allowance: Up to $15,000
- Retirement Contributions: Employer-funded pension and retirement totaling 21% of eligible earnings
