Description
Atlanta Hand Specialist is an independent physician-owned practice located in metro Atlanta. The Atlanta Hand Specialist seeks a Fellowship trained Orthopaedic/plastic/General Hand surgeon to join the practice in Summer/Fall of 2025. As a Physician, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality medical care to patients and contribute to the overall well-being of patients. Your expertise and compassion will be instrumental in improving the health and lives of those you serve.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Minimum requirements include board eligible/board certified with fellowship training in Hand Surgery
Strong clinical background with a commitment to excellence in patient care is required
Strong diagnostic and analytical skills
Excellent patient assessment and examination capabilities
Ability to develop customized treatment plans
Proficient in record-keeping and documentation
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare teams
Leadership qualities with a focus on patient-centered care
Active medical licensure
Effectively communicate with patients, families, and colleagues

Responsibilities:
Conduct patient interviews to gather detailed medical histories and symptom information
Perform and interpret diagnostic tests as necessary
Accurately diagnose orthopedic conditions and create tailored treatment plans
Prescribe or administer necessary medications
Maintain and review comprehensive patient records including history, examination findings, and treatment outcomes
Uphold the organization's policies and procedures while fulfilling job-specific obligations
Continually seek opportunities for professional development and innovation in orthopedic care
Perform medical procedures and surgeries when necessary
Call requirement of 6-7 days a month of hand call only
Ensure safe care is provided to all patients
Uphold patient confidentiality and privacy
Comply with all relevant laws and regulations
Obtain Medical Staff Privileges as needed in a health system.
