is partnering with a hospital less than an hour from Dallas, Texas, that has an opening for an Orthopedic Trauma Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide ongoing coverage.

About the Opening:

• Level I trauma
• Schedule: 10-hour shifts, Thursday-Sunday
• No call required
• Duties: Surgical first assist, consults, pre and post-op rounding, and follow-up
• Dedicated support staff
• Must be board-certified
• Paid travel & expenses

During your time off, take a gondola ride along scenic urban canals, ride a vintage train through rolling prairie landscapes, and explore world-renowned Western art in local museums.

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Active unencumbered SGL (Surgical Services) Texas state license
• Graduate from a fully accredited SGL (Surgical Services) program
• One year of work experience as SGL (Surgical Services)
• One year of EMR experience
• Board Certified

• Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
• Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
• Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.
• A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.
• Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
