The Trauma Service at OrthoIllinois: A Unique Priva-demic Practice Opportunity!

OrthoIllinois Orthopedic Trauma Service, Rockford
OrthoIllinois is a subspecialized, university-style private orthopedic practice serving communities throughout Northwest Illinois. The OrthoIllinois trauma service covers two local trauma centers in Rockford: an ACS-Accredited State Level 1 trauma center with life flight regional coverage and a State Level 2 trauma center.
The trauma service will consist of two fellowship-trained traumatologists and a dedicated orthopedic trauma PA. Additionally, the OrthoIllinois trauma service is a full-time rotational site for the Orthopedic Residency at Rush University, a top 5 residency program in the country with year-round PGY-4 and PGY-5 service coverage and associated teaching responsibilities.

Qualifications
- MD degree, board-certified/eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
- Must be eligible for licensure in the state of Illinois
- Comfort with acute management, periarticular fractures, periprosthetic (revision arthroplasty permitted, but not required), pelvic/acetabular trauma, and non-unions
- Team-oriented and shares a commitment to providing the highest quality of care
- Position is open to dual fellowship trained surgeons, but not required
