Description
Saint Louis University is seeking a fellowship-trained upper extremity/hand surgeon to join the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery in the School of Medicine in our mission of patient care, education, and research. Our Department is seeking someone interested in an academic position in a University setting to join a team of hand surgeons and potentially (based on experience) serve as Division leader in our mission of patient care, education, and research. The position is currently 90% clinical and 10% academic/education role, but the opportunity for expanded research is available to meet the goals of the prospective faculty member. The new faculty member's academic rank will be based on experience. Both tenure and non-tenure track positions are available.
Responsibilities
- Patient care at a Level 1 Trauma Center
- Satellite Outpatient Care
- Participate in Academic Programs (e.g. medical education)
- Hand Surgery Call
Requirements
- Licensure/Certification Registration: Licensed Physician MD/DO who is credentialed in the State of Missouri
- Education: Board Certified/Board Eligible Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required
