Mercy Clinic is seeking a Sports Medicine- fellowship trained Orthopedic Surgeon to join our well-established, high-performing team of 10 orthopedic surgeons serving two state-of-the-art campuses: Mercy Hospital Joplin and Mercy Specialty Hospital Southeast Kansas in Galena-located just 15 minutes apart.

As part of Mercy Clinic, a physician-led, professionally managed multi-specialty group with more than 3,500 physicians, you will practice in one of the nation's largest and most integrated healthcare organizations.

Position Highlights

• Partner with local Family Medicine/Sports Medicine physicians to provide coverage for area high schools and youth football programs, with opportunities to expand sports partnerships.
• Established Concussion Clinic Program with strong community demand.
• Collaborative support from experienced athletic trainers, physical therapists, and orthopedic PA's and NP's
• State-of-the-art operating rooms equipped with advanced technology
• Rehabilitation center featuring HydroWorx therapy pools
• Dedicated orthopedic hospital and HOD surgery center at the Galena campus
• System-wide Epic electronic health record
• 5 nights/month call while on guarantee, prorata w/group after guarantee, 2 traumatologists support weekday call

Compensation & Benefits

• $700,000 guarantee within a strong, integrated health system.
• $50,000 recruitment bonus.
• Up to $20,000 relocation assistance.
• $5,000 annual CME allowance.
• Four weeks of vacation, six paid holidays, plus five CME days during the guarantee period.
• Comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, and robust Physician Wellness Programs.
