Company Overview
As the largest not-for-profit healthcare system in Texas and one of the largest in the United States, Baylor Scott & White Health was born from the 2013 combination of Baylor Health Care System and Scott & White Healthcare. Today, Baylor Scott & White includes 48 hospitals, more than 800 patient care sites, more than 7,800 active physicians, over 47,000 employees and the Scott & White Health Plan.

2017 U.S. News & World Report’s "Best Hospitals Guide"
In the 2017/2018 survey by the National Research Corporation of consumers in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, residents voted Baylor University Medical Center the most preferred hospital; voted the hospital with the best image and reputation; and ranked the facility as having the best doctors and nurses for the 22nd consecutive year.
In 2018, Baylor Dallas achieved its fourth consecutive accreditation in the Magnet Recognition Program® by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), the gold standard for nursing excellence and benchmark for measuring quality of care. Less than one percent of hospitals nationwide that have achieved Magnet status have maintained it for four consecutive years
