Syracuse Orthopedic Specialists is the largest, most respected Orthopedic Group in Central New York wtih 23 Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeons and 22 Mid level providers. The group has 7 conveniently located offices and operates a wholly owned Ambulatory Surgery Center currently with 4 operating suites with a planned expansion to 6 in 2010. The group has invested in state of the art diagnostic and computer equipment which include electronic medical records, two high field MRI scanners, digital x-ray and nuclear medicine. We perform nerve conduction and EMG studies and partner with pain management and PT groups for total patient care. We have a Spine center and recently opened a Hand and Wrist center to offer specialized care to our patients. The commitment to the ancillary services listed above produces ancillary income in excess of $250,000 per partner.
Company History
Syracuse Orthopedic Specialists formed in 2002 with the merge of 3 seperate groups who were operating independently in the Central New York area. We service the 3 major hospitals, St Josephs Hospital Health Center, Crouse Memorial and Community General for orthopedic care and treat patients from 7 surrounding counties. We have 6 offices in and around Central New York and built our Ambulatory Surgery in 2002 which provided 10,600 surgeries and procedures to our patient in 2009.
