Job Description\n\nAbout this role
\nAs a Hand Orthopedic Surgeon at Intermountain Health, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. Other orthopedic sub specialties covered in the group include fellowship trained specialists in operative sports medicine, adult reconstruction, hand and elbow, foot and ankle, hip preservation, pediatrics, musculoskeletal trauma, podiatry and non-surgical sports medicine.
\n\nIn this ortho hand practice, you will work alongside a collegial group of 15 physicians that also include 3 traumatologists and 17 advanced practice providers (APPs).
\n\nClinical Practice
\nWorking Full Time, 40 hours/week at the Rocky Mountain Clinic, St. Mary's Hospital and Grand Valley Surgical Center (ASC)
\n \nYou can anticipate 2 days per week in clinic and 2 days per week OR surgical time; patient-preferred hours are encouraged
\n \nHand call requirements but you will not be obligated to take general ortho calls
\n \nComprehensive treatment for most hand condition
\n\n\nAn ideal candidate will have successfully completed fellowship training in hand surgery. In addition, have experience in brachial plexus and free flap procedures (i.e. microvascular, peripheral nerves).

\n \nCompensation:
\nAnnual Base Salary: $560,000.00
\n \nwRVU Bonus: Earn an additional $75.00per wRVU over 8,900wRVUs per year
\n \nStarting Bonus $30,000.00
\n \nRelocation: up to $20,000.00
\n \nStudent Loan Assistance: $75,000.00
\n \nOrthopedic Hand Call: To be discussed during interview
\n \n\n\nWhat youll bring
\nMD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
\n \nBoard certification or eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery
\n \nFellowship training in Hand Surgery
\n \nActive, unobstructed Colorado medical license, or the ability to obtain one
\n \nAbility to successfully complete St. Marys credentialing process
